The agreement between you and muse.space when you use it: what we do, what you may and may not do, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Last changed .
These terms are an agreement between you and muse.space, which runs this service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, and to our privacy policy, which says what we do with your data.
You must be 18 or older, and able to agree to a contract where you live.
muse.space lets an AI agent you use reach services it can’t reach by itself, such as your mail, calendar and contacts. You give us a password, a key or a sign-in once; your agent gets actions through an agent token, never the secret itself.
muse.space is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple, Meta or any other company whose products it works with.
You choose what to connect and what your agent may do there. Reading is on and writing is off until you turn it on, and we hold every call to your switches and limits.
Your agent acts for you. What it does with the access you give it is your responsibility, including a message it sends or an event it changes by mistake. Agents make mistakes: check the audit log, and keep writing off where you don’t need it.
Connect only accounts that are yours, or that you have permission to connect, and keep to the terms of the services you connect.
The services you connect, and the agent you use, are run by other companies under their own terms. They can change or stop what we rely on at any time, and when they do, a connector may stop working until we catch up. You can cancel our access at the source whenever you like, for example by cancelling the app-specific password at Apple.
What passes through the service is yours. You give us permission to handle it only as the service needs, to carry out what you and your agent ask, and for nothing else. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.
We improve the service all the time, and may change or remove parts of it. If a change is for the worse for you, or if we ever shut the service down, we’ll tell you at least 30 days ahead, with time to export your audit log and delete your account.
You can delete your account in settings at any time. That ends this agreement, and your data goes as the privacy policy describes.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or when the law requires it. We’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond, unless doing so would be unlawful or let the harm go on.
We work hard to keep the service safe and running, but we provide it as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it suits a particular purpose, beyond what these terms and our security page say.
As far as the law allows, muse.space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, or for what your agent or another company’s service does. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is more.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence, and nothing takes away a right you have as a consumer where you live.
When we change these terms, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to you, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the law of the place where muse.space is established, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If you live somewhere whose law protects consumers more, that protection still applies to you, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before anything formal, please write to support@muse.space: most problems are fixed faster that way.
