iCloud Mail, Calendar and Contacts in Claude Code

One command in a terminal and a sign-in in your browser. Claude Code gets your iCloud Mail, Calendar and Contacts as tools, and never the password.

What you can ask Claude Code

  • “Find Alex’s last email about the API change and write what changed into NOTES.md.”
  • “Read the spec attached to the design review invite and list its open questions.”
  • “What meetings do I have before the release on Friday?”
  • “Put a 30 minute review on my calendar on Thursday at 2.” This one writes, so it waits until you turn writing on for iCloud Calendar.

Reading is on from the start. Sending mail, changing events and editing contacts wait until you turn writing on, connector by connector.

Set it up

Three steps, about five minutes

  1. Make an app-specific password

    Sign in at account.apple.com (opens in a new tab) and choose Sign-In and Security, then App-Specific Passwords. Name it muse.space and copy the 16 letters Apple shows you.

  2. Add it to muse.space

    Create an account and paste the password. Your browser encrypts it before it is sent, and we check it with Apple. The one password opens Mail, Calendar and Contacts.

  3. Add the server to Claude Code

    One command, then a sign-in:

    2. In Claude Code, type /mcp, choose muse-space and sign in. Your browser opens a muse.space page where you choose what it may use, and allow it.

What stays in your hands

  • Read tools are on from the start. Every write tool waits for your switch, connector by connector.
  • Every call Claude Code makes is in your audit log: which tool, when, and how it went.
  • Revoke the token Claude Code holds, and its calls stop within 5 seconds. One switch pauses every agent at once.
  • Claude Code never holds the password. Cancel it at Apple and our copy stops working at once.

Fair things to ask first

What about other agents in a terminal?
Any agent that speaks MCP can use the same address. One that cannot sign in takes an agent token instead, in an Authorization: Bearer header: make one under Tokens in your dashboard.
Does every project see it?
Only the one you ran the command in, which is Claude Code’s default. Add --scope user to the command to use it in every project. Either way, what it may use is decided here.
Is it safe to give muse.space the password?
It is an app-specific password, not your Apple Account password: it opens mail, calendar and contacts and nothing else, and you can cancel it at Apple whenever you like. Your browser encrypts it for our vault before it is sent, and nothing can read it back, not Claude Code and not you. The security page says exactly how.
Is this allowed by Apple?
Yes. App-specific passwords are Apple’s supported way for other mail apps to sign in. Ours shows up in your Apple Account like any other, and you can cancel it there at any time without asking us.
What if I stop halfway?
Nothing is lost. Sign in again and setup carries on from the step you were on, and a password you stored stays stored. If you lost the agent token before your agent had it, make a new one: the old one stops working at once.
What does it cost?
Nothing for up to 3 connectors, and a password counts once, so iCloud Mail, Calendar and Contacts are one. Personal, for everything more, is $5 a month or $48 a year. It is not on sale yet, and until it is we give it with codes.
