For families

A flyer, a screenshot, an invitation: on your calendar

The school sends picture day as a flyer, and the coach sends the season as a screenshot. Follow who sends them, and the dates in the pictures and PDFs attached to their emails go on your family’s calendar with a reminder.

See it read a flyer

What the reader your account uses finds in a flyer on the fridge. No account needed.

How it reads a picture

Only what the picture says

A model that reads pictures writes out the words in it, exactly as they are written. The same reader as for an email then finds the dates, and each one is checked against those words, so nothing the picture does not say goes on your calendar.

When flyers come by email

Every email, by itself

Follow the sender, and the pictures and PDFs attached to their emails are read the same way, every time, with the dates put on your family’s calendar by themselves. How it works.

Questions

Pictures in your mail

Are the pictures in my mail kept?
No. A picture attached to an email from someone you follow is read once, in memory, for its dates, and forgotten: not stored, not logged, and not used to train a model.
Which pictures work?
Photos and screenshots, and PDFs, scanned ones too, attached to an email from someone you follow. A picture too small to hold a date, such as a logo, is left alone.
How do the dates get on my calendar?
With an account, each goes on the calendar you chose, with a reminder, as its email arrives. Here, Add to my calendar gives you the flyer’s dates as one calendar file: on a phone it opens your calendar’s own screen for adding events, and on a computer it downloads.
